Autumn is all about cooler temperatures, school stating again, and two big holidays: Halloween and Thanksgiving. Even though Thanksgiving is supposed to be about giving thanks for what you have and helping those that don’t have as much, it’s sort of become all about food. We could argue whether or not that’s okay, or we could just talk about how great Thanksgiving food is, as Turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and casseroles grace tables and deliciously fill bellies.
Subway is looking to get in on the holiday fun as well and is bringing some Thanksgiving flavor to customers with more than a month to go before the big day. That’s right, their sandwich artists are serving up the Autumn Carved Turkey Sandwich with Cranberry Mustard Sauce.
On Monday, October 10, Subway will launch a handful of new Fall items. Among them will be the Thanksgiving inspired Carved Turkey Sandwich, which tops the delicious hand carved turkey with cheddar cheese, spinach, tomato, red onion, and their all new Cranberry Mustard Sauce served on oven toasted bread. Is your mouth watering yet?
Alongside the new sandwich, the fast food chain will also offer some new Fall sweet treats:
Pumpkin Spice Cookies
These soft, sweet delights allow Subway to jump on the pumpkin spice trend in a big way. They’re made with pumpkin flavored dough, vanilla, molasses, nutmeg, white confectionary chips and cinnamon.
Apple Pie Cookies
It’s an American classic on the go! These cookies include a blend of Granny Smith and Fuji apples, nutmeg, cloves, natural apple flavoring and cinnamon.
Thanksgiving might not be until November 24, but you can head out to your local Subway today and grab a Carved Turkey Sandwich with Cranberry Mustard Sauce as you await that day of football, food and giving thanks.
