Olive Garden has made a name for themselves in the family Italian dining world, but even a big brand like them has to keep things fresh so their customers don’t lose interest. Most recently, the mega-chain has kicked things up a notch with their Tastes of the Mediterranean menu. This new lineup features 6 dishes that are a bit more health-conscious than their regular offerings, as they each contain under 600 calories.

Chicken Margherita (590 calories)
Grilled chicken breasts covered with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, basil pesto and a lemon garlic sauce. This fresh, delicious dish is served with a side of parmesan crusted zucchini.
Linguine di Mare (570 calories)
Whole grain linguine topped with a homemade pomodoro sauce and tossed with sautéed shrimp and mussels
Shrimp Scampi (500 calories)
Angel hair pasta tossed with asparagus and tomatoes along with shrimp sautéed in a buttery garlic sauce.
Herb-Grilled Salmon (460 calories)
Grilled salmon filet smothered with garlic herb butter and served alongside parmesan-garlic broccoli.
Chicken Piccata (500 calories)
Grilled chicken topped with a lemon garlic butter sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, and capers served alongside parmesan crusted zucchini.
Tilapia Piccata (420 calories)
Baked tilapia topped with a lemon garlic butter sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, and capers served alongside parmesan crusted zucchini. Some markets will replace tilapia with cod (370 calories).
Prices for these new menu items will vary by location, but if you’re looking for a lighter option, everything listed here certainly sounds delicious. We haven’t had a chance to indulge just yet, but be sure to head on over to your local Olive Garden and give their new offerings a try.
