Beer and cheese are a match made in junk food heaven. Toss that on a fast food burger and you have a recipe for success. That’s the idea behind the new Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. offering that’s going to be made available in a couple short weeks. That’s right, the new Budweiser Beer Cheese Burger is set to roll out nationwide at the fast food chains on October 26th.
This past Summer, select US markets got a test of this item which, at the time, was called the Budweiser Brew House Bacon Cheeseburger and cost $5.29. It seems those tests went well as Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. will be releasing it nationwide under its new moniker: The Budweiser Beer Cheese Burger. We find the previous name a bit more inviting, but that’s just us.
This new burger features a 1/3 pound beef patty, caramelized onions, applewood-smoked bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and is smothered with gooey Budweiser Beer Cheese. Sounds very high in fat content, but also very high in delicious content. If that messy, greasy burger isn’t enough to get you filled up on boozy cheese, they’ll also launch Budweiser Beer Cheese Bacon Fries. We’ve gained a few pounds just thinking about these new dishes.
Tell us, will you visit your local Hardee’s or Carl’s Jr. later this month to pick up a Budweiser Beer Cheese Burger or the accompanying fries? Leave a comment below and let us know!
