Home » RECIPE: Low n’ Slow Portobello Shakshuka
December 5, 2016
Despite its ravishing good looks you need not be afraid of the Shakshuka. It's by far the easiest breakfast whip-up. Bang everything in the pan then simply watch it bubble and brew! Not to mention the more you make it, the more comfortable you'll become in experimenting with your flavor concoction.

1To kick things off get your capers, red pepper, olives, chopped chorizo, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes all bubbling away low and slow for about 10 minutes.
2Mix through your spice blend along with a generous sprinkling of mozzarella, and simmer for 2 more minutes.
3Crack your eggs on top of the mix and wack it all in the oven on 180 degrees.
4Grill, for 5 minutes – or until you can wait no longer.
5Serve with a lil basil and a lil pesto and you're away laughing.
