Popular burger chain Shake Shack held an investors call this past Wednesday and outlined some exciting plans for their future, including new menu items, an expansion for their app and more.
First up, the company revealed that they’ll be introducing two new limited offerings in the form of a burger and a chicken sandwich. For those who prefer beef, you’ll be able to get your hands on The Barbecue Shackmeister, which is topped with “beer-marinated crispy shallots and Shack barbecue sauce.”
If you’d rather chicken, be sure to check out the Barbecue Chick’n Shack, a “crispy chicken breast, topped with Shack barbecue sauce and served on a bun.” Both sandwiches will rear their heads at locations across the country towards the end of 2017.
Next, Shake Shack announced that due to the success of their mobile order and pay app, they’ll be expanding it to additional locations. As of this week, in addition to using it at New York’s Midtown East Shack, you’ll be able to use it at their locations on the Upper East side and in downtown Brooklyn.
Finally, we learnt that New York’s Penn Station location will start offering breakfast options shortly, such as “coffee, juice and sausage sandwiches.” If the items perform well, you can expect additional locations to start serving them as well.
That wraps up the news from the investors call, but tell us, which of these announcements from Shake Shack has you most excited? Leave us a comment down below and give us your thoughts!
