Oreo has dominated the cookie market for a long time now. Not that that’s a bad thing, mind you, as dipping those sweet, delicious treats in milk is one of the more enjoyable things in life. Sure, they’ve had their fair share of new and unique flavors over the years (some more popular than others), but the company has never branched out beyond cookies… until now. This week sees the release of the new Milka Oreo Chocolate Candy Bars.
Oreo has teamed with Milka to use their smooth European chocolate to create a cookie-candy mashup that sounds epic. These sweet snacks feature bits of Oreo cookies and their famous vanilla creme filling paired with Milka’s delightfully creamy chocolate. To kick things off, there will be three unique offerings.
The Milka Oreo Big Crunch Chocolate Candy Bar is like a reverse Oreo (two layers of cream with a layer of Oreo in the middle) coated in European Milka chocolate. It will come in a 10.5 ounce sharing size and cost around $4.99.
The Milka Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar, meanwhile, is for those with smaller appetites. It’s simply Milka chocolate surrounding a layer of cream filled with bits of Oreo cookie. It will come in three sizes: 1.44 ounce for $0.98, 2.88 ounce for $1.69, and 3.52 ounce for $1.79.
Finally, the Milka Oreo Choco-Mix Snack Mix Bag is like Chex Mix’s sweet and unhealthy cousin. This mixed bag of treats features mini traditional Oreos, mini golden Oreos, Milka chocolate candy buttons, and candy coated chocolate pieces. It comes in a 6.1 ounce bag retailing at $3.69
These scrumptious new offerings from Oreo are already available with limited distribution at Wal-Mart, Kroger, ShopRite and Albertsons, but will roll out nationwide in early 2017. Will you be checking them out when they do? Sound off below and let us know!
