You can’t really ever go wrong with sushi, and that’s because in addition to the fact that it tastes great, is relatively healthy and there’s tons of variety, it also makes for a pretty ideal meal to share. That’s something which isn’t lost on the fine folks over at The Sushi Chef Institute in California, as they’ve gone ahead and created one of the world’s largest rolls.
While it’s not the largest (that honor goes to an 8,273 ft. long beast), it’s definitely right up there. As you can see in the video above, this roll is an absolute monster, easily shareable with all your friends and more. Not that you can get your hands on it, mind you, as the chefs made it specially for the Japanese Food Festival, which took place last week.
Still, it’s fun to go behind the scenes and see just what went into putting something like this together. We’ve got to wonder how good it actually tasted, but at the same time, when you’re presented with a sushi roll this big, taste probably wouldn’t be your first concern, right?
